Additional Information

Since 1978, Rutgers Business School (RBS) has trained leaders in business scholarship through its Ph.D. programs. Our programs allow doctoral students to collaborate with world-class professors who have expertise in a broad range of research areas. These programs are designed for full-time students only and require four to five years of full-time study, with an emphasis on research from the outset.

Career Opportunities 

During the 25-year history of our program over 2/3 of our graduates have taught in higher education. We have placed graduates in highly ranked business schools, including Case Western and the University of Connecticut, but most of our graduates go to smaller universities, and some move to other areas of the United States. Some international graduates return to their countries to teach.
